Stylist and Image Consultant

Stephanie White Carter brings over 20 years of fashion experience to Image Consulting Atlanta. After earning an initial Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Agnes Scott College, in Decatur, Georgia, Stephanie returned to university and earned a second Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree (Magna Cum Laude) in Fashion Design & Marketing.

Her expertise in wardrobe and image consulting, fashion design, fashion merchandising, styling and trend reporting continually lands her in places like New York, Miami, L.A., Hong Kong, Paris, Shanghai, and Chicago. Stephanie also enjoyed a successful 14-year modeling career in runway, print and commercial work. Carter is a master at helping others decide what to wear, what not to wear, how to shop, and how to better stylize an existing wardrobe.

She has had the opportunity to work with extraordinary people like Brooke Baldwin, Lucy Liu, Paris Hilton, Katy Perry, Clark Howard and Anthony Kiedis, along the way. Stephanie has been featured in the pages of Marie Claire, the LA Times, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Jezebel Magazine and Modern Bride; and her styling can be seen in First for Women magazine as well as the Piedmont Review. Carter also contributes to various other newspapers, online publications, and books and magazines such as Simply Buckhead, the AJC, Atlanta WOMAN, Atlanta Business Chronicle, and Lincoln Road Magazine, upon request.

Stephanie has been an image and fashion consultant since 2006, and is proud of the extensive list of satisfied clients she has fashionably transformed. After graduating college, Stephanie decided she wanted to use fashion and style to help and impact women and men in a more personal way. By working with clients, teaching them how to choose clothing and hair styles, offering grooming and makeup advice, and giving lifestyle tips in order for them to find more success and greater happiness, she could have a lasting impact on their futures.

From dressing CNN anchors and celebrities, to speaking at seminars for business executives and professionals, Stephanie’s passion for fashion is infectious. Stephanie proudly proclaims, “Nothing is more gratifying than seeing a client gain happiness and self-confidence through proper image styling. After all, style is a form of self-promotion. Dress to impress and you’ll be taken seriously. Dress your best and you’ll feel great even when no one is watching.”
